I’ve uploaded the short and long excerpts I’ve made for Life After — the short one is just story, which I think serves to give an idea of what the book itself is — the full excerpt includes the prologue and timeline.

The story stands well on its own but there’s real life context best understood with the background of both international historical events as well as what may transpire between now and the book’s setting in the mid-21st century…what I hope we can avoid.
